Weather and other such things
It seems as I sit down to write this installment that the weather in Scotland is on the up and up. But I still wish to comment on it, much like every other pleb out there.
After a long shift at work yesterday (7am - 2pm), I had high hopes of beginning the new regime by getting out into the garden and going for a long walk. Of course I had to run to the car from the front door of the hospital because it was, as they say, "pishing it down".
I still made it out for the walk but the gardening had to take a backseat. Last night I was almost frozen solid making my way through the city centre. The worst part of last night, however, was by no means the weather, it was the night's consequences.
When I awoke this morning at 5.45am, it was only about 5 hours after I had crawled into bed, so I can exclusively tell you that I was feeling the worse for wear as I made my way through the rain once again to the Clyde Contact Centre. (I must admit I am still not quite back to my peak.)
I have been asked to give a mention to someone special. I officially dedicate this post to my dearest Chloe, who is reading from all the way in North Queensferry, Kingdom of Fife. I look forward to seeing you tomorrow and spending a few relaxing days with you. x.
And to everyone else (do I have a fanbase - doubts remain), best wishes until such times as I think of something else about which I am compelled to speak.
Brido
