Efficiency

We got up at a reasonable hour this morning. I treated myself to a couple of episodes of The Simpsons and a glimpse at Private Eye (I'm thinking of subscribing) over breakfast.

In The Albert last night, we tried to make plans for today as the din of the 'Jam Session' took precedence over the restaurant through the wall. We were at odds as Chloe was sure we'd enjoy a trip to Seaworld, which just happens to be in the same town as the cottage. I was eager to finally make that visit to McArthur Glen and finish what I started with the new shirt and shoe bargain shopping craze. Efficiency became the topic of The Daily Brido today because we've decided to do both.

We're about to leave for the shopping centre and we're going to sample the delights of Seaworld on our road home. Thereafter I'll be getting a cooking tutorial from the famed Stuart Simpson (Risotto) and once again we will make our merry way down to The Albert, although the Guinness pump will take less of a bashing as I'll be driving back to the city of dreams (Glasgow) late tonight.

Tomorrow sees me up and out early and meeting one of my oldest, dearest and most talented friends, Stuart Gordon, at my club for a spot of brunch and a catch up.

I'll type my last for this one now, as I fear I am sounding more and more like P. G. Wodehouse as the paragraphs roll on.
