A Lazy (but reassuringly structured) Day

Last night we spent an enjoyable evening at the Polo Lounge, where we met with good friends who had only recently announced their charming and secret love affair. It felt like a tiny congratulations party was held above the bar of the Polo.

We wandered home at what can only be termed a saunter, and arrived at the flat as the birds chirped their 5am song. (This after two phone calls to the police regarding a SILVER VAUXHALL ASTRA which drove by, shooting an airgun, smashing up three bus stops on one street, and goodness knows what else afterwards.)

Today, we joined the world at around 2pm, watched Morgan Spurlock's wonderful documentary, 'Super Size Me', which had come free with The Guardian, and took a brisk walk in the rain, stopping only to admire the swans (unsettling) and the property shops (exciting).

Now we've got back to Westerton and we're going to decide what's for eats and settle down to 'Catch Me If You Can', closing our day on the same lazy note on wich it opened.

I am 99% sure that the phantom poster of such genius works as 'poo' and jobby' is the infamous Chloe Dobson, but am having difficulty proving this. Other than that: Tony, thanks for the comment, and Stephen, I hope you're well ... when will your work be updated at 'Freshly Scooped'?

Best,

Brido

P.S. - The next few posts will take on the theme of clubs. I've managed already to learn so much about what I believe to be a growing scene of private members' clubs (my fascination) from the web, and I'd like to give others the direction I never had; and the opportunity to learn!
