Busy, busy, far too busy...

I've wanted for days to write loads of things on the blog, but things have been hectic. Far too hectic for a newly appointed idler.

It's late now and I am exhausted so I won't write much, but Suffice it to say that I'm feeling creative and inspired a lot of the time. I have decided that when people ask me what I do, I shall answer, 'I'm an artist', partly to make the conversation less (or perhaps more) awkward and partly to follow in the sullen and plain speaking footsteps of Samuel Beckett, whose biography I am currently enjoying.

Off to Stanley in Perthshire tomorrow evening for a night of music and Guinness, and then working on Sunday morning, but with half term on Monday, which should give me a chance to catch up on some reading and writing for Fish and Game.
