I've had what felt like a very long day. I started work on my blog for Tarantula at 10am, then a meeting at 1, then rehearsals from 2 til 6. Although we went to be around 8.30 last night, and I definitely slept from 11, I still feel tired and think I could quite easily get into a pattern of sleeping 9 hours a night (Tom Hodgkinson advises on 9 per night and 1 during the day).
I'm about to get to work on transcribing some of the 1950s B-Movie, 'Tarantula', which I found strangely enjoyable. It has that feeling of a simple task, something I can do, almost without thinking, and it brings with it that sense of acheivement which always follows a task like washing up or counting out coins.
Just ordered a copy of James Boswell's 'Life of Samuel Johnson' for a few pounds! Anyway, back to work.
